For some, Doral can seem difficult to navigate and seemingly separate from the rest of the city. However, in true Culture Crusaders fashion, we’re here to let you know that Doral is home to some pretty incredible gems that you may be sleeping on. Nestled warmly in the Element Miami Doral hotel, 107 Steak & Bar is a treasure all its own. An unexpectedly delicious find, 107 Steak & Bar is a traditional yet modern approach to a steakhouse with a Miami twist. Seasonal flavors, premium cuts, and a neighborhood feel make for a delicious destination.

When you think of a steakhouse, approachable isn’t the first word that comes to mind but you’ll feel right at home when you take your seat at this dining outpost. A straightforward menu, prices that won’t break the bank, and impeccable service are the ideal ingredients for an experience that will keep you coming back for more. We recommend kicking off your dine with a cocktail. With a full bar in tow, they have specialized in some decidedly creative fusions that should be on your radar. The Mangonada is the perfect sweet, spicy, and sour mix of mango, tequila, fresh lime and Tajín. It’s an elevated mango smoothie that you simply won’t be able to put down. Pair that with the Cocotito, a fresh lemonade fused with mint and coconut, and you can’t go wrong.

Of course appetizers are necessary to really prime your appetite. As you browse their menu, you’ll notice a range of dishes that span influences from around the world. We’re talking tequeños, croquettes, ceviche, burrata and more.  You won’t regret ordering the Tuna Tartare, layered high with avocado, diced mango, fresh tuna and wakame salad, or their 107 Asian Ribs draped in a mango soy sauce you’ll lick right off the plate.

For the main event, satisfy the whole family’s tastebuds with their incredible selection of steakhouse favorites, sides, and captivating entrees. We dug our forks into the Grilled Salmon Fillet that was accompanied by mashed potatoes, asparagus and mango consommé, and a perfectly cooked 14 oz Ribeye Steak topped delicately with their house-made chimichurri paired with a bowl of Mushroom Risotto. Word on the street is that regulars come in to just enjoy the Mushroom Risotto as a meal of its own, and we totally understand why. To cap off your culinary adventure at 107 Steak & Bar, the only bad decision when it comes to dessert is not getting any. A classic, their homemade Flan is a scrumptious go-to but it’s their decadent Nutella Crème Brûlée that we’ll order every single time. A chocolatey escape, we’re pretty sure time stood still as we savored every bite.

As much as we thoroughly enjoyed every morsel of food, it’s truly the attentive service and familial atmosphere that made the biggest impression on us. 107 Steak & Bar, filled to the brim with regulars, adventurers and travelers alike, is a place where you’ll feel welcome every time you step foot through the door. Come for the vibe and stay for the live music on Wednesday, Thursdays and Saturdays, Karaoke on Fridays, and their happy hour that runs daily 4PM – 10PM.
