Few food brands have set the country in a frenzy as much as sweetgreen has, and even fewer can boast being both health-conscious and delicious at the same time. Last year, Miami got its own dose of excited mayhem when the New York-founded fast-casusal salad concept opened its first crop of South Florida outposts around town. And there’s even better news: sweetgreen is sweeping into Miami once again with its latest opening in Wynwood.

What sets sweetgreen apart from other similar concepts is that it takes sustainable eating as seriously as it takes its community integration. Each of their nearly 400 locations in cities from Boston, Austin, Denver and now Miami open first by diving deep into what makes these neighborhoods so unique–building on connections with brands and makers. As the company puts it in their own words: “Our guests don’t go to a sweetgreen, they go to their sweetgreen, and each space is a reflection of the community it’s a part of.”

One great thing to come out of to celebrate sweetgreen’s third Miami opening in Wynwood at 2621 NW 2nd Avenue, they partnered with 3 artists that filled the walls of their new restaurants for a giveaway that gives back. On June 15th, the first 150 guests (at each location) to order pickup on the sweetgreen app get a limited-edition ceramic bowl by Jen Stark (Wynwood), Elan Byrd (Coral Gables) and Amauri Torezan (Coconut Grove). For every bowl, sweetgreen also donate a meal via Health in the Hood.

sweetgreen is also doing its part to integrate our city’s local flavors into new bowls and menu items for that beloved Miami flare with citrus-forward bowls, tons of avocado, and of course, black beans. Make sure to RSVP to a sneak peek of  the Wynwood  store plus a complimentary meal before the grand opening, at their highly-anticipated preview events on either June 11th or June 12th. RSVP HERE
