We’ve been celebrating North Miami Beach’s strong Asian culinary scene for years, so there’s no surprise that one of the city’s most authentic market calls the neighborhood home. Chung Hing is the kind of market you need when you’re looking for something no-frills and straight to the point. You can buy everything here from ingredients, produce, specialty items, and even the correct utensils to cook it all in.

We all know that Homestead and The Redlands are unmatched for their fresh produce and farm stands, but we often forget that one of the largest Latin communities in the region calls it home. And the Redland Market Village is where you can taste the world under one roof. If you’re looking for a one-stop-shop for all things Italian, head over to Origini along Miller Drive to find what you’re looking for. A vast majority of their products are 100% made in Italy, which means that whatever you come to buy or taste here will be bringing the flavors of the homeland along with it.

Out west in Fountainbleu and around the Tamiami area, plenty of great culinary gems await you, including this authentic mart. Hanna & Tiger’s is a local beloved spot to head to when you want to not only get your week’s worth of grocery done in one go AND when you want to shop for those spontaneous cheat meals. The space is very tidy and well-organized, so that the amount of products don’t overwhelm any of your decisions.

But where does one go to buy all the spices and meats you need to bring that same level of comfort and flavor home? It’s almost impossible to have a round-up of authentic markets and not include the one that’s probably the most well known around town. Marky’s Gourmet is the beloved go-to for anyone who likes to get their hands on some of the finer things in life. From world class caviar and fresh truffles, to obscure cheeses and cured meats, their rows of refrigerators and shelves are stacked with unique delicacies from around the world.
