This weather is making the idea of socializing safely outdoors more bearable and exciting. One of our favorite ways to take in a nice day with friends is by hanging and lounging somewhere we feel like we can spend a big bulk of the day and get really chill and comfy. What better place than at a beer garden where good drinks and low-key vibes are not far away? Here are a few great options:
This traditional German restaurant will blow you away; if you want an extensive variety of Bavarian beer to enjoy with your pretzel, this is the place for you. This pub has multiple flat screen TVs, scattered all over the walls, so it’s the perfect place to grab a pint and watch the game. You can even bring your dog because their outdoor seating is pet friendly! Sit back, relax and order the “Giant Bretzel mit Liptauer” served with spiced cream-cottage cheese, but don’t be fooled; even though it’s an appetizer, this pretzel is huge!

One of Coconut Groves most beloved hangs, Barracuda Taphouse & Grill didn’t lose any of its nostalgic essence during the pandemic. In fact, they have taken over all of Fuller ST and filled it with trademark pink picnic tables so more locals can enjoy their endless menu of tapped beer. Check their instagram ever day for rotating specials and fun programming.
Located in the heart of Wynwood, The Butcher Shop is the perfect place to head for an outdoor hang. Well known for their bottomless brunch, artisanal meats and gourmet burgers, this father-son restaurant will wow you. Its welcoming atmosphere and outdoor seating provides a relaxing space to enjoy your meal. Start in the afternoon and celebrate into the night; where you can safely walk around Wynwood to see all the sights. If you’re in West Palm Beach, their second location there is definitely worth checking out.

Tucked behind The Edge Apartments in FAT Village is a beautiful garden with vintage decor and furniture, serving up handcrafted cocktails and craft beer in an airstream bar! This gem does not have a food menu, however, but choose to feature local food trucks throughout the week to provide distinctive menus for every taste! Local DJs also rotate throughout the week to maintain the #justchill vibe they want to create.

When we found out that Coral Gables was getting a brewery, we knew this was a huge cause for celebration, since we’ve long-believed that the neighborhood was in dire need of a friendly watering hole for all ages–and Bay 13 is just that. From the team behind Threefold Cafe and a myriad of other beloved concepts around town, this Australian-inspired brewpub boasts shiny on-site tanks, a cocktail bar, great outdoor seating, and curated menu of bar bites. Head there now before the ball gets rolling!
