If you’re not familiar with Public Square yet, let us introduce you to Grove Bay’s newest concept! Partners, Francesco Balli, Ignacio Garcia-Menocal, and Eddie Acevedo have beautifully transformed the space into an elegant dining establishment with gracious service. Inside the dimly-lit restaurant guests are surrounded with warm wood features, a diverse range of wine selection, and creative menu items. Public Square is sure to become the next hot spot for date nights, happy hours, and casual family get-togethers alike.

The menu features dishes like the Filet Mignon Bites, Poached Lobster, Crispy Suckling Pig, Morel Mushroom Risotto, a selection of grilled-to-order steaks, and more. The wine program focuses on West coast wines with a cool, curated, 96+ point wine-by-the-glass list, plus a special Wine Vault membership program. Don’t know where to start? Let us walk you through our favorite dishes and writer’s recommendations!

For starters try out the Fresh Baked Milk Rolls! Freshly baked with Romero honey whipped butter and sea salt.

Our favorite salad to pair with the bread rolls is this Burrata & Tomato salad. Local burrata, heirloom tomato chutney, toasted hazelnuts, aged balsamic, orange slices, and micro basil. A fan favorite – the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice! Crispy rice tuna tartare, chili oil, scallions, and sesame seeds make up this delicious plate. For seafood lovers, the Alaskan Halibut delicacy is a must try! Seared Halibut, apples, potatoes, corn & fennel, New England clam chowder, and paddle fish caviar. Grilled Octopus anyone? Spanish octopus, piquillo peppers chimichurri, balsamic reduction, crispy potatoes, and micro basil.

For the sushi fanatic the following three plates are a must try! Jalapeño Hamachi Roll, the Dragon Roll, and Salmon Crab Roll. Only have time to stop for a drink? You won’t be disappointed. The carefully curated drink menu by bar manager Bryan Waronker, features a range of invigorating cocktails. Enjoy a drink by the bar while watching your favorite sports team.
