There are very few breakfast baked goods as comforting as a toasted bagel. Whether you’re a regular lox and smear eater or just a fan of the holed deliciousness, a good bagel actually isn’t that hard to find in South Florida. Given that National Bagel Day is January 15th, and we seem to always be on the hunt for that satisfying bagel bite, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite spots to grab a bagel in South Florida:

Mo’s Bagel and Deli

Located within the chicness of Aventura, this hot bagel spot is nothing short of amazing. With a great atmosphere serving classic American style bagels and impeccable service, there’s no way you could miss out on this place. It is both vegetarian and vegan friendly and has a bakery full of tasty treats. Offering many options of food like sandwiches and breakfast plates that you can choose from.

Toasted Bagelry & Deli

The rustic theme and cozy lighting are enough for this bagelry to make you feel homey while you enjoy your favorite bite of bready wonder. Whether it’s the classic cream cheese and plain bagel or juicy salmon and avocado mash, Toasted Bagelry & Deli has got your taste buds covered. Smoothies, coffee, salads and soups are also offered. Definitely a box to be ticked off on Miami’s list of places to try.

El Bagel

What started as a simple pop-up with Instagram-worthy treats, turned into a powerful movement of bagel yumminess. El Bagel is one of Miami’s favorite bagel connoisseurs at the moment, fleshing out towering bagel sandwiches and other great creations. Their brick and mortar spot has been highly anticipated for some time now, but soon they’ll be opening in MiMo for a permanent home. For now, enjoy them at places like Box Elder, popping up every weekend.

This is a local’s only, hidden gem that only the true Grove-ites know. Coral Bagels has been around for decades, serving authentic American meals that hit the spot every time. Breakfast might be their busiest time of day, which makes sense because their bagel options are pretty much endless. You can’t go wrong with any combination at this family-run establishment.

Holy Bagels & Pizzeria

If you’re talking about authentic New York-style grub, it needs to be a no frills kind of spot that you can be in and out and filled up in no time. Nothing should distract you from what you really came for: the food. Holy Bagels & Pizzeria is that kind of joint that feels straight off the streets of The Big Apple. They’re really only bustling during the day, and like a true NYC establishment, their menu has pretty much everything you need.


Bagel Bar East

The big apple may be a few miles away from our sunny city but, if you’re looking for that authentic New York style bagel, then this is your place. Bagel Bar has all sorts of bagels and spreads for you to choose from, and their breakfast is incredible. With a true diner feel, this spot is the best for your comfort food pick-me-ups. From fresh omelettes and melting french toast, to endless choices of bagels, the Bagel Bar provides a solid location for any foodie.


The Bagel Club Wynwood

Light and easy bites are the ways of this recently opened bagel locale in the hipness that is Wynwood. Offering breakfast and brunch from morning to night is a convenience that this tasty new bagelry brings. Smoked salmon, egg salad and stuffed bagels are some of the items off the menu that may have you swinging by. At night this spot turns into a speakeasy, which is sure to make you stay while you fill up with some delicious eats.
