Since its grand opening just three months ago on the border between the Little Haiti and Little River District neighborhoods, the Food hall at The Citadel has made quite the mark. With residents like Antonio Bachour, Palmar, and Vice City Bean, The Citadel offers bites from some of the most beloved Miami eateries, and a variety at that. Quickly becoming our go-to spot to dine with a group of friends or co-workers, the food hall at The Citadel has pretty much every type of cuisine for every type of foodie. Even the picky ones. Yas girl, we see you.
And if we couldn’t love this newest neighborhood addition enough, they’ve just announced the opening of their 5,000-square foot rooftop bar and lounge. They kicked off the awesome spot on May 15th with their Summer Series on The Rooftop, which features live music and DJs, health and fitness classes, and kid-friendly, family-oriented events.
Open Wednesday to Sunday evenings from 6 pm to 11 pm, the space will host weekly events. Like the ‘Live Rooftop Sessions’, featuring live music Wednesday evenings, presented by Chad Bernstein, one of Miami’s premier Latin, jazz and funk artists. This is an off-shoot of his already popular Jazz at The Yard series at the late Wynwood Yard.
There will, of course, be a fully stocked bar with beer, wine and cocktail offerings, along with extensive views of the city. Because what is a rooftop without a cocktail in hand?
Grand Opening: Wednesday, May 15th
Location: 8300 NE 2nd Ave.
Hours: Wednesday – Sunday 6 pm – 11 pm
