Mythologeny Slo Show – Noty Aroz brings the MYTHOLOGENY for the 1st time in the U.S The artistic duo made up of a screenwriter and a visual artist comes from Paris to put up a unique show of their multidisciplinary art works. This exhibition invites you to discover the neo-mythology they created : MYTHOLOGENY. The deities of this cosmopolitan new belief are a “syncretic” mix of ancient cultures and popular characters from fictions. Each of their masks are created following a precise methodology called Graphic Ethnology, allowing to translate deep historical researches in images.

Leikeli47 at Kindred – No one ever sees Leikeli47 unmasked. The omnipresent balaclava or bandana of the Brooklyn-bred rapper may bring to mind Pussy Riot, with whom she has collaborated, or MF DOOM, who she has cited as an inspiration. Higher Reflections: A Solo Exhibition by Chris Dyer – Chris Dyer is a Peruvian-Canadian artist based in Montreal, who exhibits, performs and teaches his art worldwide. Though his styles, mediums and subject matter are in continuous flux, the main theme seen through his artwork is cultural and spiritual oneness of humanity and beyond. He serves as a conduit and builder of bridges between different art movements including visionary paintings, street art murals, skateboard graphics, and more. His subject matter is as varied as his styles, and the resulting art is a reflection of his personal spiritual journey. This is Chris’ first US exhibition in 5 years and he will be showing most of his original art collection, not to be missed!

Ssing Ssing – During Art Basel Miami, The Rhythm Foundation with Emerson Dorsch Gallery will present South Korean band SsingSsing. SsingSsing is what happens when you cross 1970’s era Talking Heads, B-52’s, and David Bowie with Korean shamanic rock. What can appear to be an homage to 1970s glam rock is, at its core, music with lyrics taken primarily from Korean shamanic rituals.

Luck by Sandra Portal-Andreu – Sandra Portal-Andreu’s site-specific work Luck is set and inspired at the historic Hialeah Park. This live performance explores notions of luck and fortune in early Miami through the dichotomy of the human spirit that conceived it and the majestic horses that manifested it. Luck will activate spaces on-site, where the likes of Winston Churchill, John F. Kennedy, Elizabeth Taylor, and the Rat Pack once visited.
