In the heart of Little Haiti lies an unsuspecting gem. Set behind the facade of single family homes is a refuge for people and nature alike: Earth N Us Farm. Two acres of native foliage, farm, and communal living space which includes a treehouse all put together with love by Ray Chasser and his family.  The farm, which is open to the public, serves as an oasis for community and activities like drum circles, education, and even volleyball. Since 1977, Earth N Us Farm has been used for a catalyst to encourage environmental sustainability and teach folks to care for and respect the earth. It has continued to evolve through the years. From pigs, goats, tortoises, and more, take the time to feed the animals and take in this sanctuary that was created to bring people and nature together.

It’s one of the places that you absolutely need to check out for yourself. So we encourage you to do just that. And until you can, take a peek inside this hidden gem.
